God’s Thumb via The Knoll Trailhead
Don’t let this hike’s popularity fool you. It’s a challenging hike, at nearly 4 miles out-and-back with a steep elevation gain of about 971 feet. But the panoramic ocean views make all that pain and sweat worth it. Pro tip: The best way to alleviate those sore muscles? Head back to the Sea Gypsy and soak in our heated pool.

Drift Creek Falls
Yes, Drift Creek Falls is a bit further of a drive from Sea Gypsy, but this moderate hike is one for the books. The 3-mile-roundtrip hike winds through dense forest and takes you over a suspension bridge to a dramatic 75-foot waterfall. It’s a fairly easy hike downhill as you head out towards the waterfall, but the real challenge is the climb heading back.
